E!: Do you use any specific products for hair removal before a race?
AW: Yes! I use my Venus ComfortGlide before I race. It leaves me super smooth with hydrated skin.

E!: Are there any hair products that you swear by to protect and repair your hair from chlorine damage?
AW: It’s hard to do a lot of hair masks because my swim cap will truly slide right off my head if I have really hydrated hair. I make a point to rinse the chlorine out of my hair after each swim.
I don’t typically wash my hair every day. Instead, I rub conditioner on the ends to try and keep the moisture in.

Abbey Weitzeil's Acne Essentials
E!: What are some of the biggest beauty challenges you face as a swimmer, and how do you address them?AW: I train in the pool twice a day and the chlorine has really affected my skin by making it extremely dry. My skin is also exposed to the sun, so I prioritize sun protection and moisturizing, and I am careful with the types of products I use on my skin.

AW: Honestly, I feel like self-care is something that I do a lot and helps me calm down, especially before bed. Wedding planning sometimes has even been an outlet for me as I love planning and being creative.
